Cardia Bioplastics has launched a new e-commerce website for customers to buy its Bioproducts range.
The new e-commerce website – www.cardiabioproducts.com – makes the Cardia Compostable and Biohybrid product range available to retail and wholesale customers. This move also could support an increase in organics recycling.
Cardia makes a variety of products, including compostable rubbish bags, shopping, garden and dog waste bags. Fully composting within 12 weeks, these bags can assist in diverting organic waste from landfill.
As several Australian councils have used Cardia’s compostable kitchen tidy bags for their organic waste diversion programmes, it has increased direct sales of its waste management products to households, businesses and retailers in these regions.
With more retailers stocking sustainable and environmentally-friendly products to meet the demand of businesses and households, Cardia recognised the opportunity of selling its bags online.
