Kevin Morgan has become the sole director of North Sydney-based waste and sustainability consultancy, EC Sustainable (ECS).
The company was founded in 1996 by Eric Love and Chris Rochfort to provide consultancy services to local and state government, private sector and community sector clients.
Mr Morgan joined ECS in 2002. He was made General Manager in 2008 and then Managing Director in 2012.
The business has grown steadily in the past 13 years, in which time Mr Morgan has built a 20-strong team of consultants with expertise and enthusiasm for the waste, resource recovery and sustainability sectors.
The transitional process of transferring ownership of ECS was recently completed, resulting in Kevin Morgan becoming the sole director, and allows the founders to focus on their organic industry, stormwater treatment and international roles..
“It is an exciting period at EC Sustainable. The company retains our existing staff team, whilst adding new capabilities as we continue to grow steadily,” Mr Morgan commented.
The management buyout has consolidated Kevin’s vision to offer waste and sustainability consultancy services nationally. The change has enabled new investment in systems, processes and staff to facilitate this, including developing IT platforms that directly benefit clients by collecting accurate data more quickly. In addition, ECS has extended its presence in locations across Australia, including office, fleet and employees in various locations.
Under Mr Morgan’s leadership, ECS will continue to provide fully integrated strategic and technical waste and sustainability services.
