Round 1 open for VIC litter fund

Sustainability Victoria has opened the first round of applications for the $700,000 Victorian Litter Innovation Fund.

The program offers grants of up to $20,000 to aim to support the creation of innovative solutions to prevent litter and illegal dumping in the state.

The Fund is a $700,000 package, with grants being offered over two rounds. They available to a range of organisations, including government, businesses and not-for-profits. To be eligible, organisations must deliver their initiatives through a partnership approach. 

To support potential applicants, Sustainability Victoria is running information sessions by webinar on Thursday 28 January and one in Melbourne CBD on Wednesday 3 February. The sessions will provide details about how to apply, along with an opportunity for delegates to ask any questions they may have about the Fund and application process.

Expressions of interest for round 1 grants must be received by 3.00pm on Friday 4 March.
