Registrations are now open for the Australian Organics Recycling Association’s 2016 Annual Conference & Dinner, which this year will be held in Sydney

The year’s main event for those working in or connected with organics recycling will be held from 3 to 5 August at the Novotel Parramatta, NSW.

The three-day program starts with a full day professional sales skills and techniques workshop, which will be facilitated by international business strategy and marketing consultant David Hanlon and a panel of experts from across Australia and overseas.

The conference sessions get underway on Day 2 with the theme being “Compost: Beyond Production”, as leading industry professionals will provide their insights on market development trends and differentiation. The program of presentations will be headed by invited keynote speaker Dr Sally Brown, a columnist for BioCycle magazine and Research Associate Professor at the University of Washington, USA.

The second day ends with the popular AORA Awards Gala Dinner, combining a unique networking opportunity with a first class dinner and entertainment.

The last day of the program includes the Annual Members’ Meeting followed by tours to key product development sites in Western Sydney.

AORA Executive Officer Peter McLean said the program is designed for those working in the organics recycling industry, local council executives, waste management officers, policy makers, and those interested in the recycled organics sector.

Registration is through the AORA website.
