The Australian Organics Recycling Association (AORA) is inviting abstracts and poster presentations for its National Conference 2016, which will be held 3-5 August in Sydney.

The peak body’s annual national event attracts delegates from sectors undertaking, serving and representing organics recycling and composting across Australia.
The theme for this year’s conference is ‘Compost – Beyond Production’, with the aim of including innovations and new thinking with a view to expanding markets to meet future organic resource supply.
Abstracts are welcomed for individual, group/panel or poster format, which the conference committee will consider for different themes and styles of presentation. Poster presentations should aim to provide a visual representation of research projects, and these will be displayed for the duration of the event.
Individuals wishing to submit an abstract for consideration must intend to register to attend the event. Speakers will receive 20 per cent discount off the conference registration fee.
The closing date for submitting abstracts in 27 May, and AORA will notify authors of acceptance in June. More details on how to submit an abstract for the AORA National Conference are on the website. Alternatively, send enquiries to Executive Officer Peter McLean.
Registration for the conference opens on 2 May and will be posted on the AORA website ‘Events’ page.
