The Australian Organics Recycling Association is calling for papers for the AORA 2023 Annual Conference.
The 2023 conference, to be held at the Pullman Albert Park (Melbourne) from 7-9 June, provides a platform for local and international speakers to share their expertise.
The AORA Annual Conference is the principal conference in Australia for the recycled organics industry. Each conference is a forum for education, discussion and networking related to organics recycling. It is also an opportunity to celebrate outstanding achievements in the industry.
The program for AORA 2023 will explore how positive collaborative efforts can lead to agreed national and state objectives for waste reduction and a circular economy, in turn creating opportunities for innovation and growth that results in a strong organics recycling industry.
Topics previous attendees have said they would like to hear more about include: Improving engagement with government around policies and strategies; licensing/permitting/approvals; contamination; carbon credits; PFAS; other technologies, including anaerobic digestion; education/engagement (especially for FOGO); end user perspectives; and accelerating the growth of end markets for recycled organics.
The closing date for submitting proposals is Tuesday 14 February 2023. All abstracts must be submitted online.
