CEA has become a distributor for SANY excavators across Queensland, New South Wales and South Australia.
Acquiring the distribution rights, effective January 2026, aligns with CEA’s wider business strategy to grow its influence across key market segments. It follows the opening of three new multi-million dollar purpose-built facilities across Brisbane, Sydney and Perth throughout the past six years.
CEA Chief Executive Officer Hylton Taylor said the addition of SANY to the CEA portfolio strengthens the business’s well-established footprint across the county and widens its product portfolio in these areas.
“We have diversified our product offering,” Taylor said. “Now, we will strengthen our lineup with an extensive range of excavators, ranging from one to 90 tonnes.”
The addition of SANY to the CEA portfolio also bolsters the latter’s ability to support a wide range of customers.
“For CEA, it was critical that we partnered with a brand which understood the customer segment, could deliver quality products and has a strong focus on future industry needs, ensuring the machines of tomorrow can meet the ever-growing demands of the core customer base,” Taylor said.
SANY, founded in 1989, is a global supplier of excavators. Its footprint of research and development centres and manufacturing plants stretches across China, India, Germany, the United States and Brazil.
SANY products will arrive across CEA branches from February.
