Organisations are able to receive funding for projects which advance organic products, processes and system performance.
Sustainability Victoria has developed the Research and Development Fund – Organics, which will support research organisations and the industry to improve existing methods of organics recycling.
Around $1.6 million is available for research and development of projects, with an emphasis on growing the market as well as enhance the value and performance of existing products.
Sustainability Victoria says that potential projects must have relevant and strong feasibility in the next two to three years in order to receive funding.
The funding is being offered as a part of the Victorian Government’s Recycling Victoria policy, which aims to boost jobs and establish reliable recycling systems throughout the state.
Successful applicants will be supported to test their innovations in real world applicants within the industry.
This opportunity is being offered as a chance for the industry to influence the development and find evidence in the industry innovations.
Applications for the funding closes 16 July 2021.
