Last chance for AORA conference discount

Early bird registrations for the Australian Organics Recycling Association’s 2016 Annual Conference close this week.

The draft program for the three-day event for those working in or connected with organics recycling has just been released on the AORA website. The conference will be held from Wednesday 3 to Friday 5 August at the Novotel Parramatta, near Sydney.

“This is an opportunity to network with industry leaders and celebrate outstanding achievements in the organics recycling industry,” said Peter McLean, AORA Executive Officer.

“The event is relevant to those working in organic recycling industry, local council executive, waste management officers, policy makers, farmers and anyone interested in the recycled organics sector,” he added.

The Annual AORA Conference features workshops, presentations, awards, a gala dinner and industry tours. The first day starts with a sales training seminar and workshop facilitated by David Hanlon, with a panel of experts from across Australia and overseas.

The conference is held on Thursday 5 August, with the theme of Compost -Beyond Production, as leading industry professionals, including Mike Ritchie of MRA Consulting and Rowan Williams from BASF, will provide their insights on market development trends and differentiation. The second day concludes with the ever-popular Gala Dinner and Awards.

The final day includes tours to three separate facilities and sites near Sydney to see the principles of organics recycling in action.

The discount price for the the ticket for the training, conference and tours, excluding dinner, is $750 – a saving of $80.
