NCTCE to host Lean and Green digital masterclass

The National Cleantech Conference & Exhibition (NCTCE) has partnered with SA Partners to develop its first digital masterclass.

NCTCE will run the two hour hands-on, interactive online session, Lean and Green, on 30 July.

During the session, NCTCE Director Peta Moore said attendees will develop a draft game plan, which will be immediately actionable to their organisation.

She added that organisations are fast realising that a shift to sustainable practices is no longer something they can ignore.

“The trouble is that the majority of existing solutions are piecemeal and create added financial burdens most struggle to justify,” Moore said.

“But there is a method that enables your organisation to embrace sustainable practices in such a way that will also benefit the bottom line. It’s called Lean and Green.”

The masterclass will be run by SA Partners Principal Consultation Brad Jeavons and special guest, Kievan Zokaei, co-author of Creating a Lean and Green Business System: Techniques for Improving Profits and Sustainability.

“During this highly interactive and engaging event, you will learn that what’s good for the planet is also good for business, and it will help you communicate this important message to internal and external stakeholders,” Moore said.

She explained that attendees will be introduced to proven techniques that can be used to achieve simultaneous organisational and environmental improvement.

The approach draws on best practices implemented by SA Partners within organisations such as Marks & Spencer, Tesco, Unilever and Priestly’s Gourmet Delights.
