The Product Stewardship Centre of Excellence will host a free webinar next month on the challenges of product stewardships and the logistics industry.
The art of logistics for product stewardship initiatives will explore how the logistics industry works, the challenges and pitfalls for product stewardship initiatives, what is critical when designing logistics systems, and how they can be optimised.
The webinar will also cover how collaboration between initiatives can reduce costs and emissions, and increase rates of collection, reuse and resource recovery.
The panel will feature representatives from the logistics industry and established stewardship schemes, including Ricardo Pinto (Australia Post), Sarah Newman (Remondis), Peter Tamblyn (Close the Loop), Chris Tangey (Ecycle Solutions) and Helen Jarman (Activgroup).
Each panellist will speak for about five minutes, followed by a 30-minute Q&A session. Attendees have been invited to email questions ahead of time to give panellists time to prepare.
Registrations are now open. The webinar will be held on Thursday, 14 July, from 1pm-2pm (AEDT).
