The Victorian Government, the Banksia Foundation and Keep Australia Beautiful Victoria announce a new partnership to deliver the Premier’s Sustainability Awards 2022.
Celebrating their 20th year, the awards are Victoria’s leading sustainability recognition program, celebrating organisations, communities, people, and projects working towards a sustainable future.
There are awards for industry leaders and community champions in each of six categories: Future energy; thriving environment; sustainable places and destinations; circular economy innovation; healthy and fair society and waste and litter reduction.
Winners in 2021 included a not-for-profit organisation that rescues surplus food and a paramedic who recycles old uniforms.
An information session outlining how to enter the awards, including helpful hints and tips will be held on 4 April 2022.
Entries close at 11.59pm on 1 May 2022.
