Vinyl Council Australia (VCA) with Monash University are inviting those from the waste and recycling industry to participate in a unique workshop looking at creating viable new products from PVC banners.
More than 6,000 tonnes of advertising banners, truck tarpaulins and other coated fabrics go to landfill each year in Australia alone.
Participants can work alongside industry leaders, industrial designers, product manufacturers, granulators, recyclers, UNSW chemical engineers and Monash University designers in the Master Design and Remake Lab to create new products for Australian and international markets.
