On-demand recycling service RecycleSmart has launched a new crowdfunding campaign on Birchal.
The campaign has had a strong start with 500 people showing interest in investing in just 48 hours.
Giorgio Baracchi, RecycleSmart Chief Executive Officer and co-founder, said he was overwhelmed by the support received so far.
“In the last year, we have doubled our revenue and expanded along the East Coast from Melbourne to Brisbane. Today, we’re opening in Adelaide!,” he said.
“Tomorrow, with this exciting crowdfunding campaign, we want to: Increase our penetration, as well as collect bigger items, boost efficiency and upgrade operations to turbocharge our growth and reduce costs, grow our tech team to make key improvements to our app and operations, supporting our drivers and make “reusing” easy for both individuals and businesses.”
