Recycling Victoria backs councils to implement education

Sustainability Victoria has announced its plans to further develop Recycling Victoria’s Education and Behaviour Change Program.

The program will help to educate Victorians to better manage and reduce household waste.

As part of the program, the Recycling Victoria Household Education and Behaviour Change Fund has been announced, which will provide financial support to Victorian councils to implement changes.

Applicants of the fund must utilise materials developed by Sustainability Victoria when they introduce new household recycling services.

A transition to using campaign materials developed by Sustainability Victoria must also be implemented by applicants.

The fund will consist of four planned rounds, with the first round now underway.
