EPA Tasmania has announced the semi-finalists for the 2024 EPA Sustainability Awards.
The awards aim to showcase inspiring, innovative approaches to delivering measurable improvements in preventing pollution, conserving energy and water, minimising waste, and maximising resource efficiency; and how these initiatives have positively impacted the business and communities they operate within.
Semi-finalists displayed the ability to provide social, economic and environmental benefits; show innovative aspects such as changes to technology, process and training and explain how improvements to environmental sustainability were measured.
Of the semi-finalists, four will be chosen as finalists in each category following a vote by the expert judging panel.
Winners will be announced at the Awards Gala Presentation Dinner on 18 October 2024.
