The Women in Industry Awards aim to raise the profile of women within industry as well as promote and encourage excellence.
They recognise and reward the achievements of women working within waste management, mining, transport, manufacturing, bulk handling, construction and engineering and logistics industries.
Hundreds of guests witnessed Giselle Phillips crowned Woman of the Year and Safety Advocacy award winner at last year’s record-breaking ceremony. Following her win, Phillips said she was looking forward to attending the 2024 awards to meet, connect and celebrate with the women championing and contributing to industry.
