Waste recycling industry leaders are offered the opportunity converge, learn, network and ultimately shape the future of the industry at the Victorian Waste Management Association (VWMA) Annual Conference on Tuesday, 20 April at Leonda.
The one-day summit will offer waste recycling operators with essential and exclusive information on new regulatory requirements, stimulus opportunities and technologies to make business more efficient. Delegates will hear from Ministers, key regulators, industry experts and leading technology providers.
“The VWMA annual conference is designed as a one-day summit providing industry executives with all the information they need to thrive in a new marketplace,” VWMA Executive Officer Alex Serpo said.
“The program will provide leaders with essential compliance information in a rapidly changing market, offer stimulus opportunities and provide market insights.”
The Conference has been divided into four parts, with sessions devoted to updates from industry leaders, industry reform, compliance and innovation.
CEOs, senior leaders and executives from EPA Victoria, Sustainability Victoria, DELWP, National Heavy Vehicle Regulator and WorkSafe Victoria will address delegates on these important topics, providing timely information and advice to assist waste and recycling businesses through this period of transformation.
“In addition, the conference is an opportunity to network with fellow industry leaders. The main proceedings will be followed by a relaxing dinner in the Leonda ballroom by the river, with entertainment,” Serpo said.
