WRIQ is inviting non-members and members to attend their WRIQ Business Breakfast at the Bookwater Golf Club in Ipswich, on June 23.
The business breakfast will be a chance for the industry to collaborate, following the engagement made with the Government on Organics, Composting and Waste to Energy topics.
The event will feature presentations from:
- Mac Irvine, Associate Director & Acting Head of Waste and Bioenergy, from the Clean Energy Foundation Corporation.
- Andrew Buchan from HLB Mann Judd will be ‘Unpacking the key takeaways of the State & Federal Budget’
- A DES update at the breakfast.
Attendees will also receive updates from the WRIQ on stockpiling consultation launch of new WRIQ initiatives in Ipswich, and broader projects to benefit the waste sector.
Attendees will also be able to join the event remotely from Cairns, with a hot breakfast and delegate pack available at both locations.
